About Puerto Rico (APR) is designed to help shed light and share information on the status of Puerto Rico. It is, and continues to be a network of well-researched ideas for Puerto Rico to consider in growing forward. It is also a think tank, where those who are genuinely interested in the betterment of Puerto Rico can come together, share ideas, and resources, for the development of Puerto Rico. The goal is to design, support and implement what we want our future to be. Puerto Ricans have been denied their agency for over 500 years. It’s our time!
Cathedral Planning
For us at APR, we believe that change is a must but it is important that we understand that sustainable and necessary change cannot happen overnight. If we want a better world for ourselves, we must understand that changes take time. Looking at this from the standpoint of planning a cathedral, we start to see change is long-term, over multiple generations as we must include both the present and the future. Without this, the changes we want will simply fall apart. But if we build carefully, thoughtfully, and continuously, we can achieve our goals.
